Love is lonely when you’re on top.
Not the kind of top where the rich skin reigns.
It’s the kind of top where silence speaks to you.
At first, it’s amusing.. You’ve only dreamt of the day you’d reach that peak.
Then it isn’t so amusing anymore.
You look around for answers..
Your own reflection has departed from you.
The thought of “love” in such a negative manner seems obscurely insane.
Love resides in the spirit of every one of us.
It takes the bad to see the good.
I guess that’s why God created us.
To remind Him of why He loved us in the first place.
